Heart Attack  
A heart attack (also called an AMI or acute myocardial infarction) occurs when blood flow to part of the heart muscle is blocked. These quality measures show some of the recommended treatments for a heart attack.
The data below represents discharges from July 2007 to June 2008, with the exception of 30-day mortality. 30-day mortality data are from discharges July 2006 to June 2007. (* indicates the data collection period is less than 1 year)
